Kecoughtan High School Warrior Scholastic Bowl team participates in Battle of the Brains

The Kecoughtan Warrior Scholastic Bowl Team competed against Dinwiddie High School on the December 3, 2022, episode of Battle of the Brains. The show was televised on WTKR-Channel 3. After four rounds of play, the KHS team was victorious with a 210-140 win. They are advancing to the next round of this year's tournament that will be held in January 2023. Ron Lieberum and Will Bane serve as the team’s coaches.

 

The team members who participated are: Allison Cox (senior), Chandler Lilley (junior), Hannah Bunting (senior and team captain), and Jenna Sadowski (senior). Team members Joseph Hagin (junior) and Joshua Cox (junior) also attended but did not participate in the televised challenge.

 

“We are really proud of all of the hard work that the Scholastic Bowl Team has put in all year long,” said Lieberum. “We will continue to practice and hope to get another win when we film the next round in January.”
