LAFB Heritage of America Bands Woodwind Quintet plays at Eaton Fundamental Middle School

 

Students at Eaton Fundamental Middle School had a special treat when members of the Heritage of America Bands Woodwind Quintet from Langley Air Force Base provided them a concert on Thursday, May 19.

 

Following the concert, the quintet worked with sixth grade music students in sections based on their instrument.

 

“This was a wonderful experience for all and we look forward to having them back in the future,” says Lisa Farrell, Eaton band director.

 

Heritage Winds is the wind quintet component of the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band. As professional airmen, the musicians of Heritage Winds are dedicated to using the power of music to honor our veterans, inspire patriotism, communicate the Air Force story, and recruit those who are interested in serving our nation.
