Students place in essay and poster contest

Bethel High School students who are members of the Transportation, Analytics, Information, and Logistic Academy (TrAIL) recently had the opportunity to participate in an essay and poster contest. The contest was sponsored by a grant from Freight Mobility Research Institute, FAU, and the U.S. Department of Transportation. Students were required to create a two-to-five-page essay or poster on any freight transport and/or logistics-related issue including, but not limited to, freight movement, port operations, rail operations, intermodal freight transport, information technology applications in transportation, safety, and environmental effects of freight transport.
