Camden Savage, fifth grader at Kraft Elementary School, gives opening at the February 1 School Board meeting

 

Camden Savage, a fifth grade student at Kraft Elementary School, was selected to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and give the opening at the February 1, 2023, School Board meeting. He read a poem entitled It’s All in the State of Mind by Walter D. Wintle.

Camden’s favorite subject is science and he wants to be a tech engineer when he grows up. His hobbies include freestyle dancing and playing with toys. He has one older sister, one younger sister, and two younger brothers.

Camden’s parents, siblings, grandparents, and assistant principal Michael Kelly joined him at the meeting.
