Hampton City Schools presents free summer arts and entertainment series

Hampton City Schools, through Arts for Learning, the Virginia Affiliate of Young Audiences, with the support of the Hampton History Museum and Downtown Hampton Development Partnership, is hosting free arts and entertainment on Saturdays in July. The program will include performances in music, art, theater, storytelling, dance, and more.

Programs will be held on July 9 at the Hampton History Museum, July 16 at Mill Point Park, and July 23 and 30 at the Hampton History Museum. The events will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on each of the Saturdays and all are free of charge.

“We are excited to provide this opportunity for families this summer. While in-school arts education and entertainment performances like these are provided for students each school year, these one-of-a-kind performances will now be available for families to enjoy together in July,” said Kelly Dee, HCS visual and performing arts curriculum leader.
