Hampton City Schools announces an assistant principal new hire at Jones Magnet Middle School 

 

During their regular meeting on November 2, 2022, the Hampton School Board appointed Ms. Diamond Barham as a middle school assistant principal at Jones Magnet Middle School, effective November 21, 2022. 

Barham is coming to Jones from Norfolk Public Schools where she has been serving as an elementary school teacher at Sewells Point Elementary since 2018. She has also served in the capacity of grade level chair and after-school sports club coach. 

She has her bachelor’s and master’s in elementary education from Old Dominion University (ODU) as well as Ed.S. from ODU.
