Tyrone Hall, Jr., fifth grader at Machen Elementary School, gives opening at the November 2 School Board meeting

 

Tyrone Hall, Jr. (TJ), a fifth grade student at Machen Elementary School, was selected to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and give the opening at the November 2, 2022, School Board meeting. He read a poem entitled The Library by Barbara Huff.

 

TJ’s favorite subject is science. He loves football and hopes to one day play in the NFL.

TJ’s parents, sister, and grandmother, as well as his principal, assistant principal, and library teacher joined him at the meeting.
