KHS students visit the Culinary Institute of Virginia

Kecoughtan High School's Introduction to Culinary Arts students recently had the opportunity to attend a field trip to the Culinary Institute of Virginia (CIV) in Norfolk. While at CIV, the students were able to tour the herb garden and classroom kitchens. They were also allowed to observe the CIV culinary students prepare and present soups and desserts. 

“This was a great opportunity for our students to see what they can expect if they plan to further their education after high school in the culinary field,” said Valerie Wolfe, KHS introduction to culinary arts teacher.
